One of my favs is definitely Randy Rhoads, may he rest in peace.

I've got Ozzy's Tribute album saved onto my 360's hard-drive, and it's greatness. I especially love the last track of the album (in-studio outtakes of Randy working on the song Dee )

Considering tonality is the most important factor for me in guitar playing, easily David Gilmour from Pink Floyd.

But technically speaking Jeff Beck is easy the best guitarist ever.
