Fuck this is hard...
All Nightmare Long's chorus is quite simply mighty. Its the best part of the song and one of the best things Metallica's ever written. And even though its not really a "chorus" song, Since I've Been Loving You doesn't have anything to really compete with that...
Except for the guitar. I don't really care for Jimmy Page normally (actually I find him to be one of the most overrated guitarists ever), but God damn, he plays the hell out of this song. The solo is simply chilling, one of the greatest I've ever heard. Tonally, it crushes All Nightmare Long's solo.
And the same thing holds true for Robert Plant's voice... its the best in this song its ever been. If Zeppelin sounded as good as they do on this song on every song they ever made, they'd be a top ten band for sure.
So.... I guess Since I've Been Loving You. Its really close, and if I didn't nominate Since I've Been Loving You I'd probably not vote.
