Okay, so I ended up buying Dragon Age for myself and not waiting for Christmas.
This leaves an opening in the list. I'm definitely getting Tekken 6, I love fighters and I'm never satisfied, I always need more. But now I still can get one more 360 game most likely from my parents. I'd like some recommendations. I'm interested in Borderlands and L4D2, but both suffer the same problem... which is co-op. I don't care for it a lot...

That goes to show no matter how much a woman tries, they'll fail like a lazy guy
WELL I WANTED TO TEST OUT OF CLASS CALLED STOOPID
.... I would wittily respond to that, if I understood it. Clearly ME2 is a romance simulator, with a few short shooter mini-games tacked on as diversions.

if you don't want co-op, you DON'T want Left 4 Dead 2. It's fine solo, but so much better co-op. If you don't like co-op, it brings down Borderlands, but not enough to COMPLETELY break it. It's still fun.
Let's see...
Halo 3: ODST is better than Halo 3 (IMHO), but I didn't have as much fun with it as, say, Borderlands, and if you dont play co-op firefight, the campaign isn't worth $60.
Uh... The Saboteur, but you don't like sandbox...
Sorry dude, I can't think of any ATM that you'll like, but I'll think about it more.

My brother might get ODST.
So Borderlands does have a single player mode?
Also did anyone play Arkham Asylum?

Arkham Asylum is good for about one playthrough, in complete honesty. It's really boring after your first playthrough when you go around searching for riddles and other junk, since enemies don't respawn. And IMHO it isn't worth a second runthrough...
It was a fine game, just eh..
And yes, Borderlands can be played Single Player. It's just slightly more fun to play multi. The gameplay is satisfying (imho), and the guns can be delicious. One of my favorite games of the year.

Thoughts? Everyone I know loved it so I'm leaning towards it... Arkham Asylum is good for about one playthrough, in complete honesty. I see.... gah... All of this could have been solved if Bioware would just give me Mass Effect 2 now instead of January.

It's by no means a bad game though. Just... the DLC doesn't expand it much, as well as the challenges, and one playthrough is satisfying enough.
And like, all the good games that could have come this year got bumped to next year. It makes me unhappy.

I agree with Arashi. While it was fun until I beat the game, after that...not so much.
